A MEETING WAS HELD ON THE EFFECTIVE APPLICATION OF THE RULES OF THE CONVENTION ON THE RIGHTS OF DISABILITIES

In March 2023, one of the goals of the UN Sustainable Development Goals is to ensure inclusion.

Based on this, in order to create equal opportunities in the judicial system of Uzbekistan, a training on the topic "Issues of implementation of the provisions of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Disabled" is being held at the High School of Judges in the organization of the BIT in cooperation with the Association of Disabled Persons of Uzbekistan. Judges of civil and economic courts and students of the Higher School of Judges are not participating in it.

At the training, A. Abdukhalilov gave lectures on "Social models of disability".

At the end of the training, there was a discussion of shortcomings in practice and an exchange of opinions on the issue of the application of the provisions of the Convention "On the Rights of the Disabled" by the courts.
