The Department of Political Science is one of the main educational and scientific units of the university and is engaged in training qualified personnel for the field of Political Science, conducting research work, and organizing educational and methodological activities.<\/p>\n<p>In the current academic year, a total of 388 students are studying at the undergraduate level of Political Science, and 10 students are studying at the master&#8217;s level.<\/p>\n<p>In the 2025\/2026 academic year, the Department of Political Sciences has a total of 14 professors on the main staff, 3 professors on a part-time basis, including 3 professors with the degree of Doctor of Sciences and 3 professors with the degree of Candidate of Sciences. In addition, the department has 4 basic doctoral students and more than 10 independent researchers.<\/p>\n<p>Over the past 4 years, the professors and researchers of the department have published more than 150 scientific works, including 4 textbooks, about 10 teaching aids, 8 monographs, and more than 100 articles in leading domestic and foreign journals.<\/p>\n<p>To date, memorandums of cooperation have been signed with the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the People&#8217;s Democratic Party of Uzbekistan, the &#8220;Adolat&#8221; Social Democratic Party of Uzbekistan, the &#8220;Milliy Tiklanish&#8221; Democratic Party of Uzbekistan, the Liberal Democratic Party of Uzbekistan, the Ecological Party of Uzbekistan, as well as the Youth Affairs Agency, the Youth Union of Uzbekistan, and regional, city, and district khokimiyats.<\/p>\n<p>Currently, the chair is headed by Kh.
