<\/p>\n

By the decision of the Scientific Council of the National University of Uzbekistan No. 2 dated September 28, 2017, the Department of Social Work was established and officially created by University Order No. 01-598 dated October 21, 2017. Since October 21, 2017, leading professors and lecturers of the department have been providing education in bachelor\u2019s and master\u2019s programs in Social Work.<\/p>\n

The Department of Social Work is engaged in training qualified specialists in the field of social work, conducting scientific research, and organizing academic and methodological activities.<\/p>\n

In the current academic year, 764 bachelor\u2019s students are enrolled in Social Work (238 full-time, 350 part-time, 122 distance learning), along with 37 master\u2019s students and 17 distance master\u2019s students.<\/p>\n

In the 2025\/2026 academic year, the department employs 11 full-time faculty members, 9 part-time instructors, and 3 external part-time lecturers. In the previous academic year, 8 foreign professors were involved in the teaching process, and in the current year, 10 foreign professors participated. In addition, the department has 2 doctoral students and 10 independent researchers.<\/p>\n

Over the past 5 years, the department\u2019s faculty and researchers have published more than 250 scientific works, including 8 textbooks, more than 10 teaching manuals, 8 monographs, and over 200 articles in leading national and international scientific journals.<\/p>\n

    Currently, the department is headed by Professor N.M. Latipova, Doctor of Sociological Sciences.<\/strong><\/p>\n
