Today, November 15, the National University of Uzbekistan in cooperation with the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Berlin, Germany, held an international event on the theme \u201cpriceless heritage of Uzbekistan\u201d dedicated to the 43rd session of the UNESCO General Conference in 2025. The event was attended by German experts, young people – compatriots studying in Germany, cultural workers, craftsmen and talented students.<\/p>\n

The event was opened by Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Germany Dilshod Akhatov. Also at the event, Vice-Rector for International Relations Raima Shirinova presented information about the 43rd session of the UNESCO General Conference to be held in Samarkand in 2025 and the potential of gastronomic tourism in Uzbekistan, and Akbar Bababekov about the sites on the UNESCO Representative List of Intangible Cultural Heritage of Uzbekistan.<\/p>\n

The event included master classes on pottery, embroidery, painting and composition of national sweets.<\/p>\n

In the cultural part of the event, a group of artists from the Uzbek Philharmonic led by singer Asliddin Dostov performed melodies and songs included in the UNESCO World Intangible Cultural Heritage List.<\/p>\n

The event was held in high spirits under the applause of German experts and compatriots.<\/p>\n
