Mahliyo Urokova’s opinion at the open dialogue with the President:
\n\u201cGreetings, dear President! I, Mahliyo Urokova, won the \u201cYoung Book Reader\u201d competition and received the President\u2019s prize, the \u201cSpark\u201d car, and I presented the car to my parents, receiving their blessings. Today, I study at the National University of Uzbekistan, a fatherland institution that is among the TOP-1000. I am happy that I am on the honorable path of science and that I am finding my place in society. All this is actually the fruit of your one appeal: \u201cRead books!\u201d \u201d.<\/p>\n

I was also lucky to participate in the President\u2019s open dialogue with young people. This day was a historic and memorable day for all the youth of Uzbekistan. At the beginning of the meeting, our Head of State emphasized that \u201cYouth is the golden fund of our people, our Motherland.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Head of State put forward a number of initiatives to create additional opportunities for young people, especially women and unemployed youth.
\nAs a student studying at a prestigious university, I was pleased that the President pays serious attention to and cares about the issue of employment of students and youth graduating from higher educational institutions.<\/p>\n

The doors of education have also been opened wide for children from families in need of social protection. With the \u201cBright Talent\u201d project, children from these families can now freely continue their higher education. The implementation of the \u201cStep into the Future\u201d program in cooperation with the National Bank was one of the important news for our students and youth.<\/p>\n

In an open dialogue, the President emphasized: \u201cIf we educate one girl, we will educate the whole family, families will be educated and enlightened, and then the whole society will be enlightened.\u201d Along with the further development of the reading culture among our youth, the strengthening of the activities of the magazine “Yoshlik”, a favorite publication of literature lovers, was mentioned. I, as a reader and young literary critic, have decided to contribute to this movement.<\/p>\n

At the meeting with us, the future creators of the new Uzbekistan, the President’s statement that “We must move from problems to success” gave me high spirits and great confidence.<\/p>\n
