The National University of Uzbekistan organized a \u201cCareer Day\u201d job fair to ensure student employment and distribute graduates of the 2024\/2025 academic year to work.
\nMore than 100 organizations, institutions and enterprises from the republic, regions, cities and districts participated in it. They offered more than 10 thousand vacancies, and enterprises also participated with their products.<\/p>\n

The event was opened by the Rector of the National University of Uzbekistan, Inom Majidov. The Rector emphasized that the university is gaining its prestige in the international arena and noted that regular cooperation with employer organizations has been established and systematic work is being carried out to provide graduates with employment.
\nAfter that, the welcoming speeches of Elmurod Hoshimov, Director of the \u201cStep into the Future\u201d Center under the National Bank of Uzbekistan JSC, and Zafarjon Mustafayev, General Director of \u201cUzbek Leasing International\u201d JSC, were heard.
\nAs part of the event, the university branch of the \u201cStep into the Future\u201d Center under the \u201cUzmilliybank\u201d JSC was also put into operation. Now bank employees work here on a permanent basis and preferential loans are provided to graduates who want to start their own businesses.
\nCurrently, more than 34 thousand students in 56 bachelor’s and 59 master’s programs, more than 1,000 doctoral students are engaged in scientific activities at the university. More than 7,500 graduates, as well as about 15 thousand students wishing to find a job, participated in the fair.
\nThe job fair held at the university is a practical expression of the tasks and assignments set by the head of our state, and is of great importance for organizing a lively dialogue between students and young specialists graduating from the university, representatives of enterprises and organizations, and ensuring the employment of students.<\/p>\n
