At the National University of Uzbekistan named after Mirzo Ulugbek, within the framework of the VIII International Scientific and Practical Conference \u201cTheory and Practice of Strategizing,\u201d a special session titled \u201cCentral Asian Universarium of the Strategist\u201d<\/em> took place.<\/p>\n

This high-level scientific and practical event was jointly organized by the Department of State and Corporate Strategy of the National University of Uzbekistan, the Department of Regional and Corporate Strategy of Navoi State Mining and Technology University, the Department of Economic and Financial Strategy of Lomonosov Moscow State University, the Moscow School of Economics, as well as the Institute for Mathematical Research of Complex Systems and the Center for Strategic Studies of Moscow State University.<\/p>\n

The conference was opened by the Rector of the National University of Uzbekistan, Doctor of Technical Sciences Inom Majidov. In his opening remarks, the Rector noted that this conference serves as an important platform not only for the exchange of scientific experience but also for the development of strategic thinking, the emergence of new scientific ideas, and the strengthening of international cooperation. He also emphasized that global scientific integration in the field of strategic management and planning is among the priorities of the National University of Uzbekistan.<\/p>\n

As part of the conference, a keynote speech was delivered by Foreign Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Academician, world-renowned economist, Doctor of Economics, Professor Vladimir Lvovich Kvint. In his address, Professor Kvint paid special attention to current trends in the theory and methodology of strategizing, as well as the formation of the International School of Strategizing. His scientific analysis and profound insights were received with great interest by the participants. Professor Kvint provided an in-depth examination of the importance of strategic thinking in public administration, economic stability, and corporate development, and shared relevant scientific conclusions based on global experience in this field.<\/p>\n

An engaging lecture on the topic \u201cApproaches to Talent Analysis in Strategy Development\u201d<\/em> was presented by Professor Irina Novikova, Doctor of Economics and Professor at the Department of Economic and Financial Strategy of the Moscow School of Economics, Lomonosov Moscow State University. Her presentation discussed the role of human capital in modern strategic planning, methods of talent analysis, and their significance in strategic decision-making.<\/p>\n

Leading scholars of the National University of Uzbekistan also took an active part in the conference. In particular, Head of the Department of State and Corporate Strategy, Doctor of Economics, Professor Avazbek Sadykov; Doctor of Economics, Professor Asror Urunov; and Head of the Department of Macroeconomics, Doctor of Economics, Professor Abdurahim Vakhobov shared their scientific reflections and presented relevant ideas related to the conference theme.<\/p>\n

Alongside the plenary session on \u201cTheory and Practice of Strategic Planning in the Central Asian Region,\u201d<\/em> the conference also featured presentations of the \u201cLibrary of Strategy,\u201d<\/em> the \u201cKuzbass Strategy Library,\u201d<\/em> the \u201cRussian Strategy Library of the Far East,\u201d<\/em> and the journal \u201cEconomic and Financial Strategy.\u201d<\/em> These publications are recognized as important scientific sources in the modern theory and practice of strategizing, economic analysis, and innovation management.<\/p>\n

This international conference became a significant step toward the further development of the theory and practice of strategic planning in Central Asia, the strengthening of academic ties, and the broad dissemination of a culture of strategic thinking.
