Open Day at NUUz Dedicated to Anti-Corruption Efforts<\/p>\n
Today, on December 4, the National University of Uzbekistan held an Open Day event organized within the framework of the \u201cAnti-Corruption Month\u201d and dedicated to the \u201c9 December \u2014 International Anti-Corruption Day.\u201d<\/p>\n
The event was opened by the First Vice-Rector of the university, Jabbor Muhammadiyev, who spoke about the ongoing efforts to ensure transparency and prevent corruption within the institution.<\/p>\n
Following this, Shohnazar G\u2018ulomov, Head of the NUUz Anti-Corruption \u201cKN\u201d Department, delivered a detailed report on the measures taken in response to corruption cases identified during the previous academic year, as well as on the preventive and educational work carried out by the department.<\/p>\n
During the event, Rektor\u2019s Advisor Jahongir Jabborov presented a lecture on the legal foundations of anti-corruption efforts. Senior Inspector of the university, Lieutenant Colonel Alisher Abdulkhakov, and Chairwoman of the UzNU Women\u2019s Issues Advisory Council, Ra\u2019no Rustamova, also shared their views.<\/p>\n
At the end of the event, the winners of various competitions dedicated to the International Anti-Corruption Day (9 December) were awarded. Among them were the winners of \u201cBest Essay,\u201d \u201cBest Poster,\u201d and \u201cBest Article\u201d contests on the theme \u201cYouth Say No to Corruption,\u201d as well as the \u201cBest Video Clip\u201d contest on the theme \u201cCorruption-Free Educational Institution\u201d and the intellectual competition \u201cAnti-Corruption Expert.\u201d<\/p>\n
