On February 25, 2026, at the initiative of the Department of Russian Literary Studies of the Faculty of Journalism and Uzbek Philology of the National University of Uzbekistan, the Republican Scientific and Practical Conference \u201cYoung Philology of Uzbekistan \u2014 2026\u201d was organized. Students, master\u2019s degree candidates, and young scholars from higher educational institutions of the republic and from abroad took an active part in the event.<\/p>\n

For the first time, representatives of the University of West Bohemia (Plze\u0148), Osh State University, the South Kazakhstan Pedagogical University, as well as Samarkand State University named after Sharof Rashidov participated in the conference. Their participation further strengthened the conference\u2019s standing within the framework of international academic cooperation.<\/p>\n

The conference was dedicated to the \u044e\u0431\u0438\u043b\u0435\u0439\u043d\u044b\u0435 \u0434\u0430\u0442\u044b of Mikhail Bulgakov and Dmitry Likhachev. During the sessions, reports were delivered on topical issues of classical and modern literature, problems of linguistics, as well as theoretical and practical aspects of teaching methodology in philological disciplines. Academic discussions were also held.<\/p>\n

Within the framework of the conference, the results of the traditional creative competition \u201cAnor\u201d for 2026 were announced. The competition was held in the categories of \u201cLyric Poetry,\u201d \u201cProse,\u201d \u201cTranslation,\u201d \u201cEssay Writing,\u201d and \u201cCreative Debut.\u201d The winners and prize recipients were awarded diplomas and valuable gifts.<\/p>\n
