On April 16, at the United Nations Headquarters in New York, USA, an international event was held within the framework of the ECOSOC Youth Forum 2026 on the topic \u201cEngaging youth in primary drug prevention systems as a factor in accelerating the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals.\u201d<\/p>\n

At this prestigious forum, Charos Abdugafurova, a master\u2019s student of the Faculty of Social Sciences at the National University of Uzbekistan in the field of Social Work and an active member of the UNODC Youth Network, delivered a presentation. Her report was dedicated to the topic \u201cCentral Asia Youth Network \u2014 UNODC: Cooperation and Prevention Practices.\u201d In her speech, she highlighted in detail the ongoing work in Central Asian countries related to youth engagement, development of prevention systems, and strengthening social initiatives, presenting this experience to the international community.<\/p>\n
