{"id":37277,"title":"Final control exams begin at the National University of Uzbekistan","content":"<p><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>From May 12, final control exams will begin in all faculties and educational areas according to the established schedule.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Final controls will be carried out in written form (by encryption) for students admitted to the university in the 2025\/2026 academic year for the 1st year and 2nd year full-time students (depending on the need for other forms of education).<\/p>\n<p>Final controls for first and second year students of full-time undergraduate programs and first year students of master&#8217;s specialties will be carried out in the following order:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u2013 students are admitted to the final control exams after presenting an identity document (passport, ID card, student ID);<\/li>\n<li>\u2013 students are prohibited from leaving the auditorium during the final control exams, and students who leave the auditorium will not be allowed to take this exam again;<\/li>\n<li>\u2013 students who arrive late after the official start of the exam time specified in the exam schedule will not be allowed to participate in the exam;<\/li>\n<li>\u2013 it is strictly prohibited for students to bring and use various devices, including mobile communication devices, micro-earphones, smart watches, computers, and any devices that can cause cheating, to the final control exams.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If these circumstances are detected (including violations of other procedures specified in the university&#8217;s internal departmental documents), the student will be excluded from the exam. If this situation is detected after the completion of the exam processes (detected through surveillance camera images), the student&#8217;s exam result will be canceled;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u2013 40-50 percent of the questions of the final control exam may be on topics directly covered in the auditorium, and 50-60 percent may consist of independent study topics;<\/li>\n<li>\u2013 the final control exam, which is conducted in the form of a test, has 50 questions for one subject and 1.5 minutes for each question. Each question is worth 2 percent, with a maximum score of 100 percent possible for a total of 50 questions. Those who score less than 60 percent are assessed as unsatisfactory;<\/li>\n<li>\u2013 80 minutes are allocated for the subject in the written final control exam. The assessment of written work is carried out on the basis of the assessment criteria established in the approved curriculum (syllabus) for each subject;<\/li>\n<li>\u2013 the students\u2019 answers to the questions asked in the written Final Control Exam are encrypted, then submitted to the evaluating professors;<\/li>\n<li>\u2013 the rating record is saved once, with all grades entered in full, within 5 days from the date of the final control, according to the regulations. After saving, the record is completely blocked and no changes to the grades are allowed.<\/li>\n<li>\u2013 the student can view the results of the final control exam through his personal account in the HEMIS information system;<\/li>\n<li>\u2013 the student can familiarize himself with the assessment criteria for written exams through the approved curriculum (syllabus) for each subject;<\/li>\n<li>\u2013 in case of dissatisfaction with the grade, the student may file an appeal to the dean of the faculty within 24 hours after the results of the final control exam are recorded in the HEMIS information system;<\/li>\n<li>\u2013 the test results are recorded by the supervisor through the student&#8217;s signature.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Final controls, which are conducted in written form for first-year students of full-time undergraduate education, are held at the UzNU Sports Complex.
