On June 5\u20136 of this year, the National University of Uzbekistan organized the 3rd International Student and Youth Forum \u201cZaamin\u201d under the slogan \u201cYouth and Ethnotourism\u201d in Zaamin District of Jizzakh Region.
\nAs part of the forum, participants visited the Zaamin History Museum and became acquainted with the rich cultural and historical heritage of the region. In addition, a visit to the Mother Monument Complex in Zaamin District was organized within the framework of pilgrimage tourism.
\nThe main events of the forum were held in local communities (mahallas) of Zaamin District, the Zaamin Technical School of Cultural Heritage and Tourism, and several tourist attractions. During the forum, a number of important initiatives aimed at strengthening the integration of education, science, and practical experience within the activities of the National University of Uzbekistan were put forward.
\nIn particular, agreements were reached to establish the \u201cNUUz Tourism Laboratory\u201d at the Zaamin Technical School of Cultural Heritage and Tourism, develop long-term cooperation with the institution, and organize summer camps for students at tourist destinations in Zaamin District during the summer vacation period. Furthermore, specific measures were outlined to implement practical projects and conduct research activities aimed at enhancing the tourism potential of the region.<\/p>\n

Within the framework of the forum, a seminar-training entitled \u201cHotel Services and Prospects for Gastronomic Tourism at Tourist Sites in Zaamin\u201d was held in the Mustaqillik Mahalla of Zaamin District. The event brought together representatives of the tourism and service sectors, as well as specialists\u00a0 public catering enterprises. Discussions focused on improving the quality of tourism services, enhancing hospitality standards, and expanding opportunities for gastronomic tourism in the region.<\/p>\n

Following the forum, agreements were also reached with the Zaamin District Administration and relevant stakeholders to conduct ethnographic studies and archaeological expeditions aimed at gaining a deeper understanding of the area\u2019s tourism resources and identifying new directions for tourism development.
\nThe forum became one of the National University of Uzbekistan\u2019s significant initiatives aimed at expanding scientific and practical cooperation in the field of tourism, increasing young people\u2019s interest in ethnotourism, and further developing the tourism potential of Zaamin District.<\/p>\n
