The solemn opening ceremony of the \u201cSCO Resource Center\u201d, organized in Uzbekistan at the initiative of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Center for Public Diplomacy, was held at the Faculty of History of the Mirzo Ulugbek National University of Uzbekistan. The event was organized on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the SCO, and was attended by the university leadership, representatives of the center, professors, teachers, students and media representatives.<\/p>\n
The new center was formed as a modern scientific and educational space that collects information about the history, goals and objectives, organizational structure and member states of the SCO. The center houses information stands, infographics, analytical publications and scientific literature on the organization\u2019s activities, which are an important source of knowledge for students and young people and researchers.<\/p>\n
A photo exhibition on the theme \u201cCultural Diversity of the SCO Peoples\u201d was organized as part of the event. Also, the presentation of the book \u201cPeople\u2019s Diplomacy: A Joint Step Towards Peace\u201d published by the SCO Center for Public Diplomacy was held in Uzbekistan, which covered the role of public diplomacy in modern international relations and issues of humanitarian cooperation within the organization.<\/p>\n
The speakers at the event noted that the \u201cSCO Resource Center\u201d will become an important platform for students and young researchers to in-depth study the organization\u2019s activities, conduct scientific research, and promote new initiatives in the field of public diplomacy.
