Four academic programs in the field of fundamental sciences at the National University of Uzbekistan named after Mirzo Ulugbek have been internationally recognized by ASIIN, the German accreditation agency specializing in engineering, computer science, natural sciences, and mathematics.<\/p>\n
An expert panel from this prestigious organization visited the university on March 4\u20135 of this year and conducted an audit of the educational processes based on international standards. The visit involved leading professors from the Universities of Augsburg, Hamburg, and Aachen, as well as industry experts and student representatives.<\/p>\n
By the decision of the ASIIN Accreditation Commission dated June 26, 2026, the following programs of NUUz were awarded the international quality label (ASIIN Seal):<\/p>\n
Mathematics (Bachelor in Mathematics);<\/p>\n
Applied Mathematics (Bachelor in Applied Mathematics);<\/p>\n
Physics (Bachelor in Physics);<\/p>\n
Physics (Master in Physics).<\/p>\n
The international expert panel highly \u0563\u0576\u0561\u0570\u0561\u057fed the university\u2019s academic processes, the strong research capacity of its faculty, the condition of laboratory facilities, and the supportive academic environment created for students. The panel also positively noted the support for student research projects and the university\u2019s effective collaboration with industry partners.<\/p>\n
This international recognition ensures that the diplomas of the National University of Uzbekistan are aligned with the European Qualifications Framework (EQF) and recognized across Europe and worldwide. It contributes to increased academic mobility for students and faculty, the implementation of joint projects with foreign universities, and enhances the competitiveness of graduates in the global labor market.<\/p>\n
