–      Limit theorems for weakly dependent random variables with values in finite and infinite dimensional spaces and their applications: central limit theorems; laws of the iterated logarithms; almost sure invariance principles; strong laws of large numbers.<\/p>\n

–      Random fields: limit theorems for mixing random fields with values in finite and infinite dimensional spaces; weakly dependence conditions for random fields.<\/p>\n

–      Theory of U- statistics: Limit theorems for U- statistics from independent and weakly dependent observations.<\/p>\n

–      Autoregressive processes: estimation of parameters of autoregressive processes; autoregressive processes with weakly dependent innovations; autoregressive processes in Banach spaces.<\/p>\n

–      Bootstrap: bootstrap for U- statistics of weakly dependent observations.<\/p>\n

–      Modeling time series.<\/p>\n

–      Functional data analysis.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

PARTICIPATION IN SCIENTIFIC PROJECTS:<\/strong><\/p>\n

1. I received the grant of the Committee of Science and Technology of the Republic of  Uzbekistan in 1999. This was a special grant for young scientists to cover all expenses of the visit to foreign  university.<\/p>\n

2. I received the grant of DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service) in 2001. This grant also covered expenses of the visit to German university.<\/p>\n

3. I received the grant of DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service) in 2006.<\/p>\n

4. I received the grant of ICTP International Centre for Theoretical Physics, Trieste, Italy in 2006<\/p>\n

5. I received the grant of DFG (Scientific Foundation of Germany) in 2008.<\/p>\n

INTERNATIONAL PROJECTS:<\/strong><\/p>\n

1. I was a member of Uzbek team in  the international scientific project (jointly with specialists  from Russia, Germany, Finland ) of INTAS organization formed by European Union  Member States. The title of the project is: Information Technology for Remotely Sensed Data Analysis Based on the System Integration of Multiscale Conceptions<\/strong>. Duration: May, 2005 \u2013 April, 2007.<\/p>\n

2. I was a member of Uzbek team in the international Russian \u2013Uzbek scientific project. The title of the project is: Approximation problems of Probability theory and mathematical statistics. <\/strong>Duration: March, 2008 \u2013 December, 2009. <\/p>\n

I got together with professor Sh.K. Formanov the award of the Center of Science and Technology under Cabinet of Ministry of the Republic of Uzbekistan for the investigations on \u201cLimit theorems for Probabilistic distributions and their applications\u201d in 2004.<\/p>\n
