Call for applications for staff and student mobility under the Inter-institutional agreement between Paris Lodron University of Salzburg and National University of Uzbekistan within the Erasmus+ ICM KA107 mobility project

Who can apply? The calls are open to Master and PhD students and staff with Geoinformatics background, (includes Remote Sensing, Geostatistics, Cartography, Computer Science) from the National University of Uzbekistan.

 

How long can the mobility be? For Master and PhD students the mobility duration is maximum 5 months. For staff, the mobility period is 10 days plus 2 days for travel. In total, 12 days will be covered by the grant.

 

What expenses are covered by the grant? Grants provide a monthly/daily allowance and a fixed travel quota to cover the flight expenses. No Pre-Financing is possible!EU FUNDING based on the reimbursement of eligible costs; invoices, boarding pass etc. transfer of grant money to scholars upon arrival via PLUS International Office!

 

When can the mobility be carried out? Mobilities should be carried out during 2019-2020 and should end before 31 July 2020.

 

What are the deadlines? Deadline for the call - 1st October, 2019.

- Proof of registration as MSc (diploma) or PhD student

- Complete transcript of records

- Formal proof of level of English language skills (TOEFL, IELTS or equivalent certificate)

- Motivation letter (4000 characters minimum)

- Letter of support

- List of publications (if any) and - conference presentations

- Information on previous scholarship awards

- Information on desire to graduate from University of Salzburg
