A meeting with representatives of the Latvian Ministry of Education and Science took place at the National University of Uzbekistan
Scientific cooperation opens the door for opportunities.
Today Latvia is one of the developed countries of the world. Science, technology and education system is gradually improving in this country. For many years the cooperation between the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Latvia has been steadily developing.
In this regard, the meeting was held at the National University of Uzbekistan named after Mirzo Ulugbek with the representatives of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Latvia headed by Mr. Andis Gejan and several academic institutions.
Rector of NUU Avazjon Marahimov informed Latvian guests about the history, scientific schools, modern laboratories of the National University, success achieved in recent years in education and training, and results of cooperation with a number of foreign countries.
During the meeting, it was agreed that such scientific and educational cooperation with the Latvian universities should be continued.
