Today, a delegation led by Rector Valentina Vasilyevna of Vitebsk State University named after P. M. Masherov (Belarus) visited the National University of Uzbekistan.
The delegation was welcomed by Rector of the National University of Uzbekistan Inomjon Majidov, Vice-Rector for International Relations Raima Shirinova, and Vice-Rector for Scientific Research and Innovation Yoqubjon Ergashev.
During the meeting, both sides discussed conducting scientific research and practical training for young researchers and PhD students at the laboratories of Vitebsk State University, organizing joint summer schools for students, and the potential opening of joint educational programs in competitive fields such as IT-medicine and applied arts.
They also exchanged ideas about joint scientific leadership and cooperation in Uzbekistan-Belarus bilateral scientific projects.
At the end of the meeting, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the National University of Uzbekistan and Vitebsk State University named after P. M. Masherov. The parties agreed to develop a roadmap for implementing the discussed initiatives and to appoint coordinators for further actions.
