NUUz took 242 nd place in the QS Asian University Ranking

The prestigious international QS rating organization has published the results of the ranking of Asian universities for 2025 (QS Asia University Rankings — 2025). The National University of Uzbekistan has achieved high results and has become one of the leading universities in the region.

According to the results of the QS Asian University Ranking for 2025, NUUz ranked 242nd in the Asian region (last year #301-350), and 12th among Central Asian universities.

UzMU ranked 49th in terms of the number of foreign professors and teachers, becoming the only Uzbek university to enter the top 50 in the ranking.

These results are a positive result of the hard work of the university staff, faculty, as well as their efforts to expand international cooperation and improve the quality of education.

For information, 23 universities in Uzbekistan also took their place in this ranking, recognized by 984 leading universities in Asia, demonstrating the competitiveness of our education system.

According to the results of the new rating, Uzbekistan has become one of the Asian countries that has significantly improved its position. This shows the positive results of the reforms being implemented in the field of education in Uzbekistan and increases the country’s position at the international level.

The increase in the ranking of universities in the world shows that the education system of Uzbekistan is adapting to international requirements and standards and increasing its competitiveness. Thus, NUUz is reaching a new stage in providing quality education not only to the youth of our country, but also to the entire region.
