Labor activity

A.A. Nasirov graduated from the Physics Department of Tashkent State University (now the National University of Uzbekistan) in 1984 with a degree in physics and education, specializing in the physics of semiconductors and dielectrics. He holds a PhD in physics and mathematics and is an associate professor.
From 1984 to 1996, he held various positions in the Department of Physics of Semiconductors and Dielectrics at Tashkent State University (now the Mirzo Ulugbek National University of Uzbekistan). In 1991, he defended his PhD dissertation on “Study of the Effect of Ionizing Radiation and Pressure on the Parameters of Metal-Dielectric-Semiconductor Structures” in the field of physics of semiconductors and dielectrics. Since 1996, he has worked as an associate professor in the Department of Physics of Semiconductors and Dielectrics, later the Department of Physics of Semiconductors and Polymers. From 2017 to 2019, he was a professor at the Department of Physics of Semiconductors and Dielectrics. From 2022 to the present, he has been the Head of the Department of Semiconductor and Polymer Physics.
In 2011-2012, as a winner of the international Erasmus Mundus MANECA program, he completed an internship in Germany at the Technical University of Berlin under the supervision of Professor Klaus Bries.
A.A. Nasirov lectures on topics such as “Fundamentals of Semiconductor Physics,” “Semiconductor Physics,” and “Theoretical Foundations of Renewable Energy Use.”
A.A. Nasirov’s research interests extend to such areas as physical processes at the semiconductor-insulator interface, the physics of multilayer semiconductor structures, surface phenomena in semiconductors, materials science of semiconductors and photovoltaic materials, and others. Today, A.A. Nasirov participates in scientific research as a leader and participant in national and international research projects. Nasirov is actively involved in developing international cooperation in science and education with leading scientific and educational centers in Germany, Russia, Belarus, the Republic of Korea, and other countries. He is the author of over 150 scientific and educational works, including one monograph and three teaching aids.
A.A. Nasirov has participated in over 50 international and national scientific and practical conferences and is the organizer and co-organizer of several international and national scientific and practical conferences. He is currently actively involved in research and teaching. His students include the winner of the National Science Olympiad and the recipient of the Scholarship of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan. A.A. Nasirov has supervised two PhD candidates.
