At National University of Uzbekistan, the student assessment system has been developed in accordance with international standards. Currently, student evaluation is based on a 5-point grading scale, which is then converted to a 100-point scale.
This grading system is based on the European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System, ensuring alignment with international higher education systems. This integration supports academic mobility and facilitates the recognition of student grades by foreign universities.
During the development of this system, the grading models of countries such as Russia, the USA, the UK, Japan, and South Korea were studied, and their best practices were incorporated. As a result, students’ academic performance is assessed fairly not only by national but also by international standards.
