A delegation consisting of executives of major corporations of the People’s Republic of China, investors, and representatives of leading Chinese higher education institutions visited the National University of Uzbekistan.

The guests were received by Yakub Ergashov, Vice-Rector for Research and Innovation, and Javlonbek Madatov, Head of the International Cooperation Department.

During the visit, the guests were provided with detailed information about the university’s educational system, scientific research activities, international cooperation, and ongoing innovative projects. The delegation was also acquainted with the university’s facilities, laboratories, and research centers.

The meeting focused on discussions of joint scientific projects, attracting foreign investment, and sharing experience in such modern fields as chemical technology, food industry, information technology, satellite integration, small energy systems, electric vehicle batteries, and nuclear technologies.

Both sides reached an agreement to further expand cooperation in higher education and scientific research, develop joint research programs, and train highly qualified specialists in modern professions.

At the end of the meeting, the parties expressed satisfaction with the development of mutual cooperation and agreed to continue practical discussions, including in an online format.
