According to the 2026 results, the National University of Uzbekistan (NUUz) secured a place among the TOP-200+ universities in the world in the overall ranking.
NUUz achieved strong results across several Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). In particular, the university was ranked within the 101–200 band worldwide for SDG 2 – Zero Hunger, SDG 6 – Clean Water and Sanitation, SDG 7 – Affordable and Clean Energy, SDG 13 – Climate Action, and SDG 15 – Life on Land.
In addition, NUUz was placed in the 201–300 band for SDG 17 – Partnerships for the Goals, improving its position by nearly 100 places compared to the previous year.
It is worth noting that while 2,526 universities participated in the THE Impact Rankings in 2025, the 2026 ranking included 1,646 universities.
