The Department of Mathematical Analysis was established in 1938. Prof. Founded by N. N. Nazarov. In the following periods, associate professor R.A. Shelkunov, prof. A.S.Arjanikh, docent F.S.Khodjimullaev was the director. In 1966-1982, professor L. I. Volkovisky was the head of the department. During this period, scientific work was carried out in the department under the leadership of professor L. I. Volkovisky on the geometric problems of the theory of complex variable functions. In 1992-2001, the department was headed by Professor G. Khudoyberganov. During this period, the above traditions were continued. Between 2001-2007, Doctor of Physics and Mathematics B.A. Shoimkulov headed the department. In 2012-2017, Associate Professor N.M. was assigned to the Department of Mathematical Analysis. Jabbarov presided. From 1983-1992 and 2007-2012 and from 2017 until now, the Department of Mathematical Analysis is headed by Academician A.S. Sadullev. Under the leadership of A.S. Sadullev, a scientific school on the theory of Kop complex variable functions was created. About ten talented young specialists conducted scientific research in this field and made great achievements. The members of the department are conducting scientific research on several combustions.
One of them is called complex analysis and theory of potentials with multiple variables, academician A.S. Sadullaev, professor G. Khudoyberganov, professor B.A. Shoimkulov, associate professors T.T. Toychiev, J.K. Tishabaev, D.Kh. Dzhumabaev, senior teacher T.O. Otaboev, teachers K.Kh. Rakhimov, N.Kh. Narzillaev and S.M. Rajabov are actively working.
The next issue is called Geometric problems of complex analysis, and professor A.K. Varisov, associate professors G.M. Lyan, N.M. Jabborov and A.R. Qutlimuratov are conducting effective scientific research in this direction.
More than 10 doctors of science, about 50 candidates of science were trained in the Department of Mathematical Analysis.
Cooperation with foreign scientific centers, mutual scientific relations are left alone. V.A. Steklov Mathematical Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Indiana, Michigan, Washington (Seattle) Universities in the United States, P.Sabate (Toulouse), Provence (Marseille) Universities in France, Umeo University in Sweden, Mittag-Lefler Scientific Center, Banach Scientific Center in Poland among them.
The fact that major international conferences dedicated to complex analysis and its applications have been held in Tashkent also shows that the Tashkent scientific school is recognized on a global scale by the theory of functions.
Currently, there are 3 scientific seminars at the Department of Mathematical Analysis:
1. Current issues of complex analysis
Workshop cancellation time: every Thursday at 12.00.
