Master’s education at the National University of Uzbekistan named after Mirzo Ulugbek has been organized since 1999. Today, the Master’s program operates in two full-time units (head of department and designer).
The Master’s program coordinates the training of Master’s students at the university together with departments and deans’ offices:
- support the organization and implementation of the educational process for the preparation of Master’s students, control the quality
of the education and training provided to them; - educational research and research work;
- coordinate and control the activities of all faculties for the preparation of Master’s students;
- ensures regular monitoring of the training of Master’s students and their subsequent employment, analysis of issues of training of Master’s students and regular preparation of reports on them.
The educational process in the Master’s program is carried out by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On approval of state educational standards of higher education” No. 343 dated August 16, 2001, No. 36 of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Most of the defenses of master’s dissertations are planned to be held at UZFA and customer organizations.
