An open doors day was held at the National University of Uzbekistan on December 9 – International Anti-Corruption Day.
It was attended by the university administration, officials of the “Compliance Control” anti-corruption system management department, leaders and members of the Anti-Corruption Student Youth Club, and students.
The event was opened by the Vice-Rector of the National University of Uzbekistan Yakub Ergashev. Advisor to the Rector, Jalal Ruziev, Head of the Anti-Corruption Department, Shakhnazar Gulyamov, and Senior Inspector of Prevention, Alisher Abdulhakov, attended and made a report.
The speakers spoke about the causes of corruption and their negative consequences.
In the second part of the event, the winners of the contest of the best essays, pictures and videos among students on the topic “Anti-corruption expert” and “Youth says no to corruption” held within the framework of the “Anti-Corruption Month” were awarded.
A total of 28 students from the university were rewarded with diplomas and prize money as winners of the competition.
