A solemn event was organized at the National University of Uzbekistan under the motto “The New Uzbekistan Army – the support of the country, the pride of our people!” in celebration of the 33rd anniversary of the establishment of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Day of Defenders of the Motherland.

The event began with a military parade held at Beruniy Square in the student town. It was attended by the leadership of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, the Center for Improving the Social Activity of Students, the National University of Uzbekistan, and the Military Training Center at the university, along with relevant officials and military personnel.

An exhibition of military weapons and equipment was organized by the Military Training Center on the main square of the National University of Uzbekistan.

Those who spoke before the military performances and a concert program warmly congratulated those gathered on the occasion of the 33rd anniversary of the Armed Forces and the Day of Defenders of the Motherland.

During the event, military performances were demonstrated by servicemen of the Academy of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Uzbekistan, cadets of the Training Center for Military Training and the University of Public Security.

Musical performances by representatives of culture and art, pop singers gave the event a special atmosphere.
