Today, February 27, the Rector of the National University of Uzbekistan, Inom Madjidov, received a delegation led by the Rector of the Kyrgyz National University named after Yusuf Balasaguni, Dogdurbek Chontoyev.

The meeting was attended by the Head of the Educational Department of the Kyrgyz National University Almaz Kidiraliyev, Head of the Department of Academic Mobility and Educational Export Saadat Shermatova, Professor of the Department of Kyrgyz Literature Sadyk Tillebayev, Dean of the Faculty of State and Public Construction Kunduzgul Bazakeyeva, Director of the Institute of History and Local Lore Turatbek Syrdibayev, Professor of the Department of Archaeology, Ethnology, Source Studies and Historiography Anisa Bikbulatova.

Issues such as establishing promising cooperation between the two universities in educational, methodological, scientific, and cultural-educational areas, establishing student exchanges and international internships, implementing joint scientific projects, and creating educational and scientific literature were discussed.

Rector Dogdurbek Chontoyev invited the staff of the National University of Uzbekistan to the 100th anniversary of the Kyrgyz National University, which is planned for October.

At the end of the meeting, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between the two universities. The parties agreed to implement cooperation in various areas in stages through vice-rectors and relevant specialists.
