Kvint Vladimir Lvovich – Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor, Academician, Foreign Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Honored Worker of Higher Education of the Russian Federation, world-renowned economist, and one of the founders of the formation and development of the theory and methodology of strategizing.

V.L. Kvint is the Head of the Department of “Economic and Financial Strategy” at the Moscow School of Economics of Lomonosov Moscow State University and simultaneously the Director of the Center for Strategic Research at the Institute of Mathematical Research of Complex Systems of Moscow State University.

Academician V.L. Kvint delivered a lecture at the Mirzo Ulugbek National University of Uzbekistan to the faculty, doctoral students, and master’s students on the topic “The role of strategy and strategizing processes in stable conditions and during emergencies.”

At this event, Murad Kamilovich Alimuradov, Deputy Head of the Department of “Economic and Financial Strategy” at the Moscow School of Economics of Moscow State University, Candidate of Economic Sciences, and Associate Professor, also gave a presentation. His report was dedicated to “The Financial Strategy of Regions and Corporations.”

The National University of Uzbekistan has long-standing ties with Moscow State University. The oldest Russian university has made a significant contribution to the training of scientific and pedagogical personnel for Uzbekistan.

A prime example is the opening of the new “State and Corporate Strategies” department at the Faculty of Economics of the National University of Uzbekistan in 2024, with V.L. Kvint serving as the scientific advisor of the new department. This department trains master’s students to become future strategists.

In collaboration with the Department of “Economic and Financial Strategy” of the Moscow School of Economics at Lomonosov Moscow State University, the Central Asian Universitarium will be held from October 29 to 31, 2025, taking place in Tashkent and Navoi.
