As we know, the Erasmus program has been implemented jointly with the University of Porto (Portugal) since 2023. Within the framework of this program, professors, students and staff of the two universities have implemented an academic mobility program. Today, Maria da Gonceição Branco da Silva, a professor of this university, visited the university within the Erasmus program. She was welcomed by Raima Shirinova, vice-rector for international relations of the National University of Uzbekistan, Javlonbek Madatov, head of the department for organization of international cooperation, Nodir Narziev, head of the department for transformation of educational infrastructure, as well as teachers of the Faculty of Chemistry.

At today’s meeting, opinions were exchanged on the expansion of scientific cooperation between the faculty of this university, as well as an agreement was reached to publish scientific articles and launch international scientific projects with the faculty of the Faculty of Chemistry in the future. Prof. Maria da Gonceição Branco da Silva from the University of Porto will give practical classes for chemistry students during the week, as well as master classes with professors and lecturers on writing international research projects.
