At the National University of Uzbekistan, promotional events are being held across faculties under the slogan “Enlightenment against Ignorance.”

The event, held in this context at the Faculty of Chemistry, was attended by Rector Advisor Jalol Ro’ziyev, Faculty Dean Shahnoza Qodiriva, Chair of the Advisory Council on Women’s Issues Rano Rustamova, relevant university officials working with youth, tutors, and student youth.

At the event, the director of the state institution “Ma’rifiy targ’ibot markazi” of the city of Tashkent, holder of the “Shuhrat” medal, Mirzokhid Khidirov, presented extensive information and concepts on the topic.

Opinions were expressed on protecting young people from alien ideas alien to society, preventing them from falling under the influence of various extremist and terrorist groups, as well as the essence and significance of the Law “On Freedom of Conscience and Religious Organizations.”
