Visit of the founder and director of Anchor Research Schools to NUUz

On May 22, 2023, Sarah Mierke, the founder and director of the Anchor Research Schools of the USA visited the National University of Uzbekistan. The purpose of the visit was to discuss the work to be done on the project being carried out in cooperation with the department of hydrometeorology of the NUUz.

It has been a year since the launch of this project, which is mainly aimed at the development of the green economy.

Also, in the process of climate change, the initiatives of proper use of water resources, finding ways of production that do not have a negative impact on nature, and formation of entrepreneurial skills in these areas have been put forward.

According to the project plan, 8-9 trainers will be trained for the tasks listed above, and they will conduct lessons based on their experience for young people in remote rural areas. It was noted that if the assigned tasks are successfully completed, the project will be extended for another 3-5 years.
