On the occasion of the International Day of Tolerance, the Department of Modern History of Uzbekistan at the National University of Uzbekistan organized a spiritual and educational event on the topic “Tolerance is a factor of peace and solidarity”.

The event was attended by Jabbor Mukhammadiev, First Vice-Rector for Youth Affairs and Spiritual-Educational Work; Raima Shirinova, Vice-Rector for International Relations; Rahbar Murtazaeva, Chairperson of the “Olima” Association of Women Scientists of Uzbekistan; as well as professors and teachers from Mukhtar Auezov South Kazakhstan University, representatives of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization’s Center for People’s Diplomacy, and students.

In the artistic part of the event, talented students from the National University of Uzbekistan performed songs and national dances representing the cultures of various nations
