Today, an international scientific and practical conference on the topic “Sustainable economic development and priority areas of the ‘Uzbekistan-2030’ strategy” is being held, organized by the Faculty of Economics of the Mirzo Ulugbek National University of Uzbekistan.

The purpose of the conference is to develop scientific proposals and practical recommendations aimed at achieving a strategy for the development of the national economy and ensuring sustainable economic growth in the context of globalization.

The following sections were held at the conference:
1. Problems of ensuring “green investments” and “green economic growth”
2. Sustainable economic growth and structural reforms
3. Increasing the standard of living and improving the quality of life
4. Strategic development of the financial and credit system
5. Ensuring sustainable growth in the world economy and environmental problems
6. Analysis of economic processes through econometric models

The conference was attended by representatives of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis, professors and teachers of local and foreign universities, doctoral candidates, researchers and students.

The conference discussed the rates of economic growth, deglobalization and defragmentation, environmental problems, transition to a digital economy, green economy, scientific approaches aimed at improving the quality of life of the population, and developed recommendations.
