In connection with the 33rd anniversary of the establishment of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Day of Defenders of the Motherland, a group of military personnel, professors and teachers, as well as employees who participated in the military operations in Afghanistan were awarded at the National University of Uzbekistan.
In particular, in connection with the holiday, the deputy minister of defense for educational and ideological affairs, the rector of the National University of Uzbekistan and the trade union of the university presented valuable gifts, certificates of honor and diplomas to the military personnel and professors working at the training center of military training of the National University of Uzbekistan.
A group of professors and teachers, workers and employees who participated in the military operations of Afghanistan were awarded honorary certificates of the rector of NUUz, monetary prizes, as well as the badge “Fidoi Vatanparvar” of the Association of veterans and disabled fighters of Uzbekistan “Veteran.”
Rector of the National University of Uzbekistan Inom Madjidov, vice-rector for scientific affairs and innovations Yakub Ergashov, rector of the Tashkent State Law University Islambek Rustambekov were awarded the badge “Five years to the Center for Military Training” and vice-rector for youth affairs, spiritual and educational affairs of the National University of Uzbekistan Jabbor Mukhammadiev.
