At the National University of Uzbekistan named after Mirzo Ulugbek, systematic efforts are being carried out to ensure the employment of graduates, facilitate their effective integration into the labor market, and create a platform for direct communication with employers. As part of these efforts, a practical meeting was organized at the Faculty of Geology and Engineering with the participation of graduating students.

The event was aimed at implementing the priority tasks outlined by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan during an open dialogue with youth on February 24, 2026, as well as explaining the mechanisms for supporting youth employment within the framework of the “Step into the Future” program.

During the event, students were provided with detailed information about the opportunities of the “Step into the Future” program, ways to start entrepreneurial activities based on preferential loans, in-demand professions in the labor market, and employment processes. As a practical part of the event, an open dialogue between employers and graduates was organized in a “Workshop” format.
The event was attended by Nurbek Inatov, Director of the Habib Abdullaev Institute of Geology and Geophysics, and Deputy Director Elmurod Amirov. They presented information about the institute’s activities, available job vacancies, and the procedures and requirements for hiring graduates.

The guests provided practical advice to students and answered their questions.
The meeting was also attended by the university leadership and responsible staff. In particular, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Shuhrat Toshmatov and Head of the Department of Marketing and Alumni Relations Mansur Mamanazarov shared information about ongoing efforts to ensure graduate employment and assist them in finding jobs.
