Currently, the delegation of the National University of Uzbekistan is in Bulgaria at the invitation of the University of National and World Economy (UNWE) Sofia.
The delegation of the National University of Uzbekistan headed by Vice-Rector for Educational Affairs Shukhrat Toshmatov held a number of negotiations with the leadership of the UNWE.
In particular, an agreement was reached with the rector of the UNWE Dimitar Dimitrov to launch projects for the bachelor’s degree program “Tourism Economics” in the 3+1 format and a one-year master’s program.
Within the framework of this program, students of NUUz will study for 1 year according to the accredited program according to the standards of the European Union, as well as internship for up to 6 months at the internship bases of UNWE located on the coast of the Black Sea and on the snow-capped slopes of Bulgaria.
For reference, UNWE was founded in 1920 and is the oldest and largest university in Bulgaria. UNWE is a member of the most prestigious European Alliance of Economic Universities “ENGAGE.EU.”
