A republican scientific and practical conference on the topic “The Role of Talented Youth in the Development of Physics” was held at the Physics Faculty of the National University of Uzbekistan.

At the conference, topical issues of physics, problems and tasks facing us, ways to solve them, and the role of young researchers in this were discussed. Scientists, young specialists, undergraduates, and students working and studying at the National University of Uzbekistan and other institutions participated in it.

At the plenary session, the following spoke: Professor Andrey Kolovsky, Chief Researcher of the Institute of Physics of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Professors of the Faculty of Physics Shavkat Yuldashev and Ulugbek Shaislomov.

After the plenary session of the conference, 5 sections were held, at which more than 190 reports were heard. Scientific research work carried out by doctoral students, master’s students, and talented student youth was discussed. A competition for the best presentation was held at sector meetings, and 3 winning works from each sector were recommended for publication in the “Uzbek Modern Physics Journal.”
