Online Meeting with Representatives of the Renowned International Accreditation Agency ASIIN from Germany





An online meeting was held today between representatives of one of Germany’s most reputable and active international accreditation agencies — ASIIN (The Accreditation Agency for Study Programs in Engineering, Informatics, Natural Sciences and Mathematics) — Christin Habermann, Natalia Vega, Mothes, and I. Yefimova, and the Vice-Rector for International Relations of the National University of Uzbekistan, R. Shirinova, Head of the Department for Educational Infrastructure Transformation, N. Narziyev, as well as officials responsible for academic programs planned for accreditation at NUUz.

It is worth noting that ASIIN is a highly experienced organization that has accredited 6,691 academic programs at 376 top-ranked universities in 67 countries around the world.

During the discussions, the step-by-step process of international accreditation for selected academic programs at NUUz was reviewed, along with the required documentation. In addition, a number of topics were discussed, including the involvement of relevant experts for the respective fields.

At the end of the meeting, both parties agreed to continue discussions regarding the next stage of the accreditation process for the selected academic programs.
