As we reported yesterday, the International Week of Innovative Ideas “InnoWeek-2025” is currently taking place at the CAEx – Uzbekistan International Exhibition Center.

Within the framework of the prestigious event, local and international higher educational organizations and research centers are demonstrating their advanced developments, innovative ideas, and startup projects.

On the second day of the week, Galina Saidova, Deputy Advisor to the President of Uzbekistan on Socio-Economic Issues, visited the pavilion of the National University of Uzbekistan and familiarized herself with the scientific and innovative developments developed by university scientists and research students.

The National University of Uzbekistan presented a scientific project “Biological treatment of wastewater from industrial and manufacturing enterprises using higher aquatic plants.” The project is aimed at neutralizing industrial waste using environmentally safe methods, preserving biodiversity, and reducing the negative impact on the environment.

Great interest in this innovative initiative was expressed, and an exchange of views took place on the further expansion and implementation of the project in cooperation with the Ministry of Ecology, Environmental Protection and Climate Change.
