According to the order of the Rector of UzMU dated February 3, 2023 No. 01-26, the Department of Public Relations and Advertising was established. The Department of Public Relations and Advertising provides qualified specialists for press services to the ministries, organizations and agencies of the Republic, regional and city governments. It prepares journalists for republican, regional, city and district newspapers and magazines. Currently, students of the Faculty of Journalism are doing internships in the information services of organizations in the mass media of the Republic.
