An international conference was held in cooperation with Konkuk University of South Korea

Today, June 25, an international scientific and practical conference on “Economic and legal aspects of international migration” was held at the National University of Uzbekistan in cooperation with Konkuk University of South Korea.

The conference was attended by South Korea's Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Hyundai Motor Chung Mong-Koo Foundation Chung Moosung, head of the foundation business team Sho Hyun Jin, dean of Konkuk University Law School, Director of the migration and Social Integration Research Center Choi Yuncheol, among other guests.

Speaking at the opening ceremony of the Conference, vice-rector for Academic Affairs Shuhrat Toshmatov noted that in recent years, cooperation between Uzbekistan and South Korea in the educational system, among many other areas, has been developing.

Mr. Chung Musung and Choi Yuncheol shared their experiences on the topic and expressed their willingness to cooperate with the National University of Uzbekistan in the future.

The plenary session of the conference discussed and exchanged views on current topics such as international labor migration, current trends in Uzbekistan, the country's participation in the international labor market, international marriage and civil law in Korea, the impact of silent psychotherapy for children of immigrant origin.

At the end of the conference, issues such as establishing cooperation in the field of scientific research between the National University of Uzbekistan and the University of South Korea Konkuk, organizing internships of talented students in international educational programs by the Hyundai Motor Corporation Foundation were discussed.
