A creative meeting of students with the leadership of the Union of Journalists of Uzbekistan was organized at the Faculty of Journalism and Uzbek Philology. During the meeting, issues of modern journalism, youth creativity, the role of the media today, as well as strengthening the theoretical knowledge of students in practice were discussed.
During the visit, an open dialogue was held with the students, and their questions were answered in detail. In particular, recommendations were given on the effective organization of student internships, the launch of new media projects in cooperation with them, and the preparation of journalistic materials at a professional level. This became a great practical help and motivation for future journalists.
Within the framework of the meeting, the Journalists’ Union presented the faculty library and literature for students. These books serve to expand the knowledge of young writers, give them new perspectives and inspiration.
This event was an important step not only in strengthening the professional skills of students, but also in forming a creative environment among them. Practice opportunities, direct communication with professional journalists, joint projects – all this encourages students to work on themselves, to be active.
Undoubtedly, such meetings serve as a great school of experience for future journalists. Through communication with representatives of their field, students understand not only knowledge, but also such important aspects as psychological readiness, responsibility for work, and dedication to the profession.
