The National University of Uzbekistan named after Mirzo Ulugbek is considered one of the constituent parts of the personnel university. The department carries out its activities on the basis of the laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Decrees and Orders of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Decisions of the Cabinet of Ministers, Orders Ministry of Higher and Specialized Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Labor Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Decrees and Orders of the University Rector, the basis of the Charter, the instructions and the relevant instructions of the university. The Personnel Department organizes the implementation of the work activity of professors and teachers staff, assistants of the educational process and employees of the financial and economic spheres in accordance with the rules of the internal order of the university, labor discipline, job descriptions and established rules.
In the personnel department, the head of the department, 2 engineers of the 1st category, as well as 2 inspectors carry out their activities. Inspectors of the department work with professors and teachers staff, assistants of the educational process and employees of the financial and economic sphere, organize activities according to the instructions and decrees of the department head.



Tasks of the Human Resources Department:
- the recruitment of teachers and professors, assistants in the educational process, as well as employees of the financial and economic spheres, termination of the employment contract, changes in the position and staff units, the provision of labor holidays, it is also premature to call for work, monitor the issuance of leave without content, hiring on a competitive basis, the determination of the terms of certification;- to supervise the drawing up of an employment contract for each employee employed, as well as prepare orders for its activities;- the formation of a stock of management personnel and provide proposals for application;- preparation of the proposal and their provision to the rector of the university to improve the quality of the professors‘ staff, their work discipline, the quality of teaching, and to prevent their non-seizure activity;- to be in touch with higher-level personnel organizations;- to carry out organizational activities on the recommendation of professors and university staff to state awards;- to supervise the preparation and extension of the terms of the certificate for professors-professors, the assistant to the educational process and co-workers of the financial and economic spheres;- certify the signatures of professors-professors;- production of the labor book, properly registering them and timely returning the work-book to the employee who interrupted the employment contract or with the expiration of the validity period;- to conduct statistical accounting of teachers-professors, assistants of educational process, and also employees of financial and economic spheres;- creation and production of a personal folder, personal sheet (T-2 form), personal data (objective), teachers-professors, assistants of the educational process, employees of financial and economic spheres;- coordination of the university staff together with the financial and economic department and carry out activities on the basis of the staff table;- definition of professors-professors, and also employees of a pension age, to issue documents and to make the account;- monthly provision of data on  vacancy to the employment center;- drawing up an act in the established manner for all the staff documents stored in the department and submitting them to the University archives;- compliance with the rules of ethics, internal order, labor discipline in working with the department and employees.
