On the occasion of the 32nd anniversary of the adoption of the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan, a series of events, competitions, olympiads, and quizzes were organized at the National University of Uzbekistan.
Today, December 5, a scientific and practical conference titled “The Constitution: A Legal Guarantee of Human Well-being and Sustainable Development of Society” was held at the university to commemorate the date.
The event was attended by representatives of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis, the Institute of Parliamentary Studies, political parties, university administration, professors, researchers, master’s students, and undergraduates.
The conference covered the historical development stages of the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan, its creation, legal foundations, and distinctive features, as well as fundamental rights, freedoms, and duties of individuals and citizens, the relationship between society and the individual, and the organization of state power.
At the conference, speakers made presentations on various topics related to the constitution. Heated discussions were held.
The 2nd part of the conference continued at the Faculty of Social Sciences, divided into sections.
