Representative for Central Asia of the Democratic Party of the Republic of Korea, Professor, Delivered a Lecture to NUUz Students

 

 

 

 

 

In accordance with the mutual agreement, on December 21 of this year, Professor Vu Hyon Lee, Representative for Central Asia of the Democratic Party of the Republic of Korea and a professor at Kukkiwon University, visited the National University of Uzbekistan to deliver a lecture to students of the Faculty of Taekwondo and Sports Activities.

On this occasion, a meeting was held with the Rector of the National University of Uzbekistan. During the meeting, it was noted that friendly dialogue based on mutual trust has been established between the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Republic of Korea, strategic partnership and alliance relations are steadily developing, and multifaceted cooperation is expanding. The summit between the presidents of both countries was mentioned as clear evidence of this progress.

Rector Inom Majidov emphasized that cooperation with Korean universities holds special importance for the university. He noted the ongoing active collaboration with Seoul National University, Inha University, Hankuk University, Yong In University, and many other Korean institutions.

During the discussions, the parties exchanged views on the current state of bilateral cooperation and discussed promising areas for future collaboration in relevant fields.

In turn, Professor Vu Hyon Lee expressed his readiness to assist NUUz in establishing partnerships with Korean universities and political institutions.

Following the meeting, Professor Vu Hyon Lee and Professor Bayok Moon Jong of the Faculty of Taekwondo and Sports Activities conducted a lecture for the students of the faculty. At the conclusion of the lecture, as part of cooperation in the field of sports, Professor Vu Hyon Lee presented special taekwondo uniforms to support students and promote the development of Taekwondo (WT) at the university.
