It is known that many universities of the Malaysian state occupied high places in the world rankings. In particular, USM University also ranked 146th in the QS World University Rankings.

During the meeting, the sides exchanged views on establishing cooperation between the two universities. Issues such as the joint publication of scientific articles by professors and lecturers of the two universities, the implementation of joint research projects, as well as the creation of academic mobility for students were also discussed.
