A conference dedicated to modern methods of mathematical physics and their applications was held

A republican scientific conference on the topic “Modern methods of mathematical physics and their applications” dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Academician Shavkat Orifjonovich Alimov was held at the National University of Uzbekistan.

The event was opened by the rector of the university, professor Inom Madjidov with an introductory speech. In his speech, the rector emphasized the invaluable contribution of Academician Shavkat Alimov to the development of mathematical physics in Uzbekistan and spoke about the role of this conference in strengthening scientific cooperation at the republican and international levels.

The event was also attended by the Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovations Kungirotboy Sharipov. In his speech, the Minister highly recognized the great services of Academician Shavkat Orifjonovich Alimov in the development of science and evaluated this conference as a vivid demonstration of the scientific potential of Uzbekistan.

This conference was organized in cooperation with the National University of Uzbekistan, the V.I. Romanovsky Institute of Mathematics of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Tashkent branch of the M.V. Lomonosov Moscow State University, the Ghent Analysis and PDE Center (Belgium), and the international scientific journal “Science and Innovation”. Central Asian University and Korzinka Company actively participated as official partners of the event.

The main goal of the conference is to discuss current theoretical and practical issues in the field of mathematical physics, share international experience, strengthen the integration of fundamental and applied research, and expand promising scientific cooperation.

More than 250 participants from 18 countries participated in the conference, and more than 500 scientific articles were presented. Of these, 345 were selected by the scientific council, 129 were by foreign authors, and 216 were from more than 20 higher education and scientific research institutions of Uzbekistan.

The presented papers covered a wide range of topics, including mathematical modeling, fractional and differential equations, probability theory, function theory, and modern algebraic geometry.

This conference also opened up great opportunities for young researchers. They had the opportunity to present their scientific developments, learn best practices in the field, and directly exchange ideas with experienced specialists.

The advanced ideas and scientific results presented during the conference will serve as the basis for new dissertations, scientific articles, and practical solutions. The event will also serve to bring scientific cooperation, innovative research, and academic exchange in Uzbekistan in mathematical physics and related disciplines to a new level.
