On February 8, 2024, a delegation led by the rector of the University of National and World Economy in Sofia, Bulgaria, Dimitar Dimitrov, visited the university. The guests were welcomed by the rector of the university Inomjon Madjidov, vice-rector for international relations Raima Shirinova and vice-rector for methodological provision and quality control of education Ravshan Musurmanov.

During the meeting, the representatives of the two higher educational institutions exchanged views on establishing the exchange of students and teachers within the framework of the Erasmus+ program, and in the future, on the establishment of educational programs in the field of tourism, as well as on the organization of internships of professors and teachers.

At the end of the meeting, the parties agreed to sign a memorandum of understanding as the first stage of mutual cooperation.
