The Institute of Theoretical Physics is active in 3 areas of theoretical physics (quantum field theory, theory of solids and theoretical astrophysics), including 10 researchers, including 3 academicians, 5 doctors of science (DSc), 2 candidates of science (PhD) is operating. The Institute is planned to be a Center for training highly qualified specialists and scientific personnel in the problems of high-energy physics and elementary particles, nuclear physics and astrophysics, relativistic astrophysics and gravity, condensed state and nonlinear physics, quantum networks and dynamical systems of theoretical physics.
Under the National University of Uzbekistan named after Mirzo Ulugbek, the scientific council number DSc.03/30.12.2019.FM.01.09 in physics-mathematical sciences 01.04.02-doctorate in the specialty of theoretical physics (doctor of science and doctor of philosophy) ) accepting and defending theses.
